Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile applications and services provided by Catalyst Studios, LLC ("Catalyst Studios," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using our Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any Catalyst Studios app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are a parent or legal guardian who has reviewed and accepted these Terms on behalf of a minor. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Apps.

2. License to Use

Catalyst Studios grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our Apps for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Apps.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our Apps.
• Use our Apps for any unlawful purpose.
• Use our Apps to generate content that is harmful, offensive, or violates any applicable law.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at info@catalyststudios.app.

4. AI-Generated Content

Our Apps use artificial intelligence to generate stories, artwork, dialogue, and other content. Regarding AI-generated content:

• Content is generated algorithmically and does not represent the views of Catalyst Studios.
• You retain ownership of content you create using our Apps, subject to the licenses below.
• You grant Catalyst Studios a limited license to process your inputs to generate and deliver content to you.
• AI-generated content may occasionally be imperfect, inaccurate, or unexpected. We make no warranties regarding its accuracy or appropriateness.
• You may not use our Apps to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Certain features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. By purchasing:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store account settings.
• All purchases are final. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Apps are the exclusive property of Catalyst Studios, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The D&D 5e SRD content used in Angst is licensed under the Open Gaming License v1.0a. All other game content, artwork, and narrative elements are proprietary to Catalyst Studios.

7. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create using our Apps. By using our Apps, you grant Catalyst Studios a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and process that content solely to provide our services to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Catalyst Studios does not warrant that our Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catalyst Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Apps. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our Apps after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
