This Privacy Policy explains how Catalyst Studios, LLC ("Catalyst Studios," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile applications (the "Apps"). By using our Apps, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Account information: name, email address, and authentication data when you sign in with Apple or create an account.
• Child profile data: names, ages, and preferences you provide when creating child profiles within the App (StoryTime only).
• Usage data: how you interact with our Apps, features used, and session information.
• Device information: device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• Payment information: subscription and purchase data processed through Apple's App Store. We do not directly collect or store payment card information.
• User-generated content: stories, scores, game data, and other content you create within our Apps.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Apps and services.
• Personalize your experience and generate AI-powered content.
• Process transactions and manage subscriptions.
• Sync your data across your devices via iCloud.
• Respond to your support requests and communications.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Catalyst Studios is committed to protecting children's privacy. For apps directed at or likely to be used by children under 13 (including StoryTime and Save the Robots):

• We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
• Parents or guardians create and manage all accounts.
• Parents or guardians may review, correct, or delete their child's personal information at any time. The easiest way is through the in-app account deletion feature in Settings — this automatically and permanently removes all associated child profiles, generated stories, and usage data from our systems. Alternatively, parents may contact us directly at info@catalyststudios.app. Please include the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and respond within 30 days. Upon confirmed deletion, all child profile data, generated content, and usage history will be permanently removed.
• We do not serve targeted advertising in any of our Apps.
• We do not sell children's personal information to third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers: third-party services including Anthropic (Claude API), Replicate (image generation), OpenAI (DALL-E 3), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple (iCloud, Sign in with Apple, App Store payments).
• Legal requirements: when required by law or to protect our rights.

All third-party service providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. iCloud data is subject to Apple's privacy and security practices. We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting info@catalyststudios.app.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@catalyststudios.app.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, through in-app notification.
